What Does Booster Club Do?

What does the Clear Creek High School Football Booster Club Do?

A Booster Club should provide support for a football team by raising funds, coordinating events and supporting the football program. Booster Clubs are organized and run by parents of the players on the team. The best booster clubs leave the coaches and players to focus on football.

When a Booster Club becomes stale or dissolves, it leaves the team’s coaching staff to try to handle things they shouldn’t have to or things don’t happen at all.

Below are some very important examples of the ways our booster club supports your student-athlete and the football program.

  • Fundraise - The CCHS Football Booster Club raises money through various events such as the Fishing Tournament last year.

  • Sell merchandise - The CCHS Football Booster Club sells “Wildcat/Creek Football Spirit Gear” online.

  • Sell sponsorships - The CCHS Football Booster Club sells ads in its printed game publication/program, fishing tournament, and other opportunities.

  • Printed Game Program - The CCHS Football Booster Club organizes and helps to produce the printed game publication/program sold at home games.

  • Website - The Football Booster Club has its own website, used to share news about the team, announcements, fundraisers, the game schedule, collect donations and more.

  • Communication - The Football Booster Club has a Facebook page, Remind Ap and uses Constant Contact email service to assist the Coaches in bridging the gap with increased communications.

  • Team Meals - The Football Booster Club assists in paying for 2 meals for away games that are determined by the board.

  • Team Cookouts and End of the Year Varsity Banquet - The CCHS Football Booster Club coordinates and executes the end of the year banquet and sub-varsity team cookouts. This also includes working with the Coaches to pick up and pay for the award plaques.

These are only a few examples...

Simply stated, the reality is this:

If there are no Booster Club Officers and Parent Volunteers, there WILL NOT be a CCHS Football Booster Club. If there is no Booster Club, many if not all these tasks and support efforts will not happen and the Club will dissolve.

Who does this affect?

The CCHS Football Team and our Student Athletes.
